Joy Bosley’s Journey – Fashion, Faith & Empowerment
Joy Bosley’s modeling career began in 2011 as a Model Productions contract winner in Opelika, Alabama. Her journey quickly gained momentum when she was booked for multiple roles on Magic City (2012), working under casting director Bill Marinella for three consecutive months. Afterward, Joy was featured in the Susan G. Komen fashion event Love, Peace & Prosperity, raising funds for breast cancer research.
In 2016, Joy appeared in Central Florida Model Magazine (September issue) and walked in a Haiti Relief Fashion Show. She expanded her portfolio as a hair model for Big Sexy Hair and later participated in various shoots and fashion shows across Alabama, including A Night of Elegance (2021) and A Night to Remember (2021), showcasing designs by Unreal Creationz and KMLA Lingerie.
Her career flourished with notable appearances in the Royal Umbrella Fall Ball 3 (October 2021), featuring top designers like Miicongenteel and Sheila Lee, and the Elevation Fashion Show (November 2021), hosted by Damian Powers. By 2022, Joy graced LA Fashion Week’s Model Experience, worked on promo campaigns, and starred in fashion events like the Beautiful You Fashion Tour and BET Awards Fashion Show.
Joy’s creative reach extends into acting, with roles in Magic City, Drop Dead Diva, music videos, and interviews, including Raw Nation and Nothing to Something Podcast. Her recent achievements include producing fashion shows like the Journey of You and The Lucky You Fashion Shows, and being a featured model at the Riverside Black History Parade (2024).
